As I was thinking of what to post, I thought I would mention my AMAZING job! I was very lucky to get this job. They weren't even hiring and had actually offered the position to one of the receptionists. But, as soon as they saw my resume and met me, they offered the position to me!!!!! The receptionist was a bit miffed, but I was thrilled! I am a vet tech again! It is the funnest, hardest, saddest, most interesting job ever. All at once. Very taxing emotionally but at the same time very stimulating. One minute I can be holding a 15-year-old cat while they put it to sleep, and the next I am in the room with a brand-new puppy!
Or five puppies, whichever the case may be. :)
But, of course, the best part is getting to meet all of the animals. Here are some of my favorites:
Yes, she is alive. :) This is Daisy. That is my lap she is resting her head on. One of the biggest dogs I have ever seen. And so sweet.
This is Molly. She may look all sweet, but when you walked past her cage she reached out and snagged you with her claws. And if you reached into the kennel she would chew on you. Loved it! This picture was taken after she was de-clawed.
Spencer. We fixed a torn ACL in his leg. Still so nice and happy, even with us messing with him.
This kitty didn't have a name. She just reminded me of Oreo. :)
Even with getting peed on, pooped on, bit, scratched, hissed at, growled at, abscesses bursting on me, and all the rotten teeth, maggots, and anything else gross and disgusting you can think of, I still think it's the best job ever. All the purrs and wagging tails make it all worth it. I can't imaging doing anything else!

So, what else have I been doing? Well......
.....Catching field mice and blow snakes. And trying not to get blown away by the wind, as you can see.
And, I learned how to make Egg Flower (Drop) Soup! This is my favorite dish whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant, and now I can have it whenever I want! So delicious!
This was just cute. Loca is always in the bathroom sink begging someone to turn on the water for her. Because drinking out of a dish is just below her. :) Such spoiled felines in my house.
One of the best parts about this house is the view. My bedroom has a balcony and I love sitting out there and watching the sunset or the storms roll in. Just so beautiful.
