And here we have Idaho....

Hi!  Wow....it's been a while.  Quick update on our family:  we have moved to Idaho.  Northeast Idaho Falls, just above Iona.  It is nice up here...quiet, no F16's flying overhead at all hours of the night and day, and not a lot of cars drag racing past the house.  We are surrounded by sagebrush and cactus plants.  Walking around up here reminds me of hiking to Pummy Stone with Mom.  Remember how we always found a dead cow somewhere?  Well, on a walk with the dogs the other day I found a cat skeleton and Sasha found a deer leg that she was very excited about.  I kept the cat skull for Dr Poll back at Coldwater Animal Hospital to use for dental xray training.  He was very excited!  I didn't let Sasha keep the leg.  But at one point on that hike I met three neighbors...me with the cat skull and Sasha with the deer leg.  And Mishka growling at their little yappy dog.  Great first impression, wasn't it?  :)   Might have scared Jeff off.  ;)

And the wind.  Holy cow.  I forgot about Idaho wind.  And it's even worse up here.  Last night I was sure our house was going to be lifted off its foundation and sent straight to Oz.  Also, speaking of cows, there are cows down the road and when the wind is calmer all I hear is:
Moooooo Mooooooo  Mooooooo.   And there are cool lightning storms up here.  Great views as well.

As for our first adventure....John wanted to ride his scooter downhill to see how fast he could go.  I told him no, but of course he had to try it anyway.  Ten minutes later Tae comes running home saying John fell and needed help.  So we go to get him and it turns out he fell while racing downhill and broke his fall with his face and arm.  Lots of roadrash but luckily no broken bones.   And lesson learned...at least until next time.  :)

Well, back to the boxes.  Lots of unpacking left to do.
