Heaven. Does anyone wonder what it is like? Well, I have my own personal idea, and it involves a horse and the mountains. Today was Rod's niece Beka's graduation party, and she has a horse! Of course I asked if I could ride it, and she said yes. Her family lives on the side of a mountain in Cache Valley. There are fields, trails, canyons, rivers and mountains all over nearby. I was able to take the horse (named Queen) on a quick ride (there were lots of others waiting to have a turn.) The sun was shining, there were a few white puffy clouds in a beautiful blue sky, eagles and hawks flying over, horses in nearby pastures, the mountains, and....the best part....nothing but the sound of horse hooves on the trail and the wind in the pine trees. The smell of horse (I love it) along with pine, wildflowers and sagebrush. Rod said that as he watched me riding it was like I was in a different world. I was so happy. So, I am convinced that heaven is going to be like that. Animals, mountains, and horse-back rides. The kids had fun, too. Just look at the smile plastered on TeAnna's face on top of that horse! We had a great time. Thanks, Beka.
